ROTO SILENTA 630 RS
The ROTO SILENTA 630 RS is highly rated in the rapid and efficient centrifugation of blood bags. It is able to spin up to 12 liter of sample or 12 blood bags per run. Four and six-place rotor options are also available to offer the best possible fit. In industrial or R&D the ROTO SILENTA accommodated six vessels up to 2,000 ml each. This unit includes refrigeration with a temperature range from -20°C to +40°C.

Yes. This centrifuge conforms to the Medical Device Directive (MDD) 93/42/EEC. Under Rule 3 in the Classification section of Annex IX of the EU Directive 93/42/EEC, centrifuges used for the manufacture of blood products for transfusion purposes (i.e. it spins blood bags) require certification as a Class IIa medical product. Hettich has this certification for this model and so it is considered MDD compliant.

We stock thousands of centrifuge spare parts in our London warehouse. However, if we do not have the part in stock, we can source it from the manufacturer. Hettich guarantees that all spare parts will still be available for purchase 7 years from the date production has ceased.
We hold stock of centrifuges at our London warehouse. If the centrifuge is in stock at the time of ordering, then we can deliver it to you by the next working day. If the centrifuge is not in stock, we will have to order the instrument from the manufacturer. In this case, delivery time is normally between 2 and 4 weeks.
All Hettich centrifuges are made in Germany.
All Hettich centrifuges have an emergency lid lock release, which can be activated in the event of a lid-lock failure. Please contact our technical team should this happen.
