GP Surgeries and Dentists – How can we help you?

Henderson Biomedical work closely with primary care providers in the NHS including, but not limited to GP practices, community pharmacies and dental surgeries.

We are able to supply new instruments such as centrifuges and refrigerators, as well as offer maintenance and calibration on existing laboratory equipment.

Our company can also supply wireless temperature monitoring data loggers from Eupry. These data loggers will monitor the temperature and humidity of an area and warn you if it exceeds pre-defined limits

New equipment

We are able to supply you with compact centrifuges which you can use to spin down a small number of samples. We are the ‘Preferred Partner’ of Hettich and can supply popular small centrifuges such as the EBA 270. This centrifuge can spin standard blood collection tubes in a swing-out configuration resulting in flat separation. The centrifuge is compact and easy to move from one location to the next. The EBA 270 is lightweight, making it ideal for field-based work.

We can also supply much larger centrifuges if you require it, along with refrigerators and freezers. We supply refrigerators and freezers from popular manufacturers such as Labcold, Vestfrost and Gram. These include under counter, benchtop and larger free-standing instruments.

Service Maintenance Agreements

We offer different Service Maintenance Agreements (SMAs) depending on your needs and requirements. You can choose to mix and match different SMAs for different departments. Furthermore, you can choose to have either one service visit or two depending on how much the equipment is used. We can provide you with one SMA which covers all types of instruments, regardless of age. This can include refrigerators, freezers, incubators and centrifuges.

ISO 17025 accreditation

Our company is ISO 17025 accredited by UKAS.  This means we can calibrate a range of different laboratory equipment devices to the strict requirements laid out by ISO. You can see full details of the equipment we can calibrate along with our measurements of uncertainty by viewing our schedule.

Training

We are able to offer centrifuge user training covering best practices as well as health and safety precautions. This is particularly useful for users who are not familiar with centrifuges. Training normally takes place on your site, but it can equally take place at our site in London or online. Training is important because it can avoid costly accidental damage and also ensure that users operate the equipment safely.

Finance options

Sometimes, purchasing capital equipment outright is not an option. That’s why Henderson Biomedical has partnered with the UK’s leading asset finance company, WestWon. Payments for capital equipment purchases and even Service Maintenance Agreements can be spread over a period of 1 to 10 years. You are also given the increased flexibility of being able to make regular payments at a mutually agreed date.
