Manufacturing within a scientific or medical context is a diverse and broad sector. For example, you could be manufacturing chemicals used in agriculture, packaging electrical components or making single-use devices for hospital applications. Whilst the demands in this sector is wide-ranging and varies from customer to customer, Henderson Biomedical is always on hand to help you with regards to your laboratory equipment needs.

Since 1987, we have been supporting scientific and medical device manufacturers with their laboratory equipment. We can offer routine maintenance, ad-hoc repairs and annual calibration for a range of laboratory equipment including, but not limited to centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, ovens and heat sealers.

We have thousands of spare parts in stock ready to dispatch to our engineers, meaning we can keep downtime to a minimum in the event of a repair.

In some cases, we are able to loan devices to you whilst your equipment is being serviced in our workshop. Alternatively, we can send an engineer to your site to carry out routine maintenance, repairs or calibration.

Heat sealers

We service, repair and calibrate all makes and models of rotary and impulse heat sealers. These devices are often used in the manufacture of medical devices. Pouches of different sizes and material are sealed with important information being printed on the rear of the pouch at the same time.

We are exclusive UK distributor of Hawo heat sealers, meaning we can offer you competitive prices on replacement sealers from one of the industry’s leading brands.

Hawo vacuum sealers

Perhaps sealing your medical devices in the conventional way is not suitable. Some customers not only need to seal their devices, but also vacuum them as well.

We are able to offer two solutions for this requirement: the Hawo hv 321 K-V MediVac which is a standard vacuum chamber machine ideal for heavy industrial use. Alternatively, we can also supply the Hawo hv 460/660 AP2-V or hv 800/1100/1300 AP2/4-V which are both nozzle style vacuum sealers. These two instruments can not only seal the pouch but also fill it with you chosen gas of choice before sealing takes place.

Service Maintenance Agreements that match your needs

We are able to offer a range of Service Maintenance Agreements (SMAs) to suit your needs. Whether you require a one-off service or regular maintenance throughout the year, we can help you. We offer Gold, Silver or Bronze SMAs depending on your requirements. Customers can choose to mix-and-match different contracts for different instruments. Replacement laboratory equipment

We can offer extremely competitive prices on centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, heat sealers and more. We can offer not only new equipment, but also used instruments for customers who are on a tight budget.

Eupry temperature and humidity monitoring/mapping

Manually recording the temperature and humidity of your manufacturing facility, oven or fridge/freezer can be a time-consuming process. This manual log of data also gets forgotten about when staff are absent from work. Furthermore, by manually recording temperature and/or humidity with a paper and pen, you will not be alerted if values exceed pre-defined limits set by the user.

Eupry is a totally wireless temperature monitoring system which regularly records the temperature and/or humidity of an area of any size, from a small freezer to a large warehouse.  Data is sent to the cloud via WiFi and the loggers will send alerts by email, text and phone in case there is a problem.

Eupry can also be used for mapping the temperature or humidity of an area such as a warehouse or storeroom.
