The hawo EcoPak 01 and 01S are professional-grade heat sealers designed for users who value simplicity, reliability, and safety. As the entry-level models in the EcoPak Series, they are ideal for healthcare providers and labs looking for a cost-effective pouch sealing solution that still meets essential performance and safety standards.
Choose the classic white powder-coated version (EcoPak 01) or the hygienic stainless steel option (EcoPak 01S), depending on your cleaning and compliance requirements.
The EcoPak 01 / 01S heat sealer is designed to offer reliable sealing for healthcare and laboratory environments where validation or digital interfacing are not required. Its fixed-speed, fixed-pressure sealing mechanism ensures straightforward daily use without the need for training or advanced configuration.
As the first model in hawo’s modular EcoPak line, the 01 offers consistent results using a ribbed sealing system and a preset temperature of up to 220°C. It’s suitable for sealing EN 868-3 and 868-4 compliant materials, including paper/paper and paper/film pouches, which makes it ideal for basic sterile barrier systems (SBS).
The main distinction between the two variants lies in the outer housing. EcoPak 01 is equipped with a white powder-coated steel exterior for affordability, while the 01S features stainless steel AISI 304 – a better choice for sterile environments where surface hygiene is a top priority.
Its compact form factor (565 x 255 x 155 mm) and low power draw (160 W) also make it perfect for smaller workspaces. Despite being the most basic model in the range, it’s CE-marked and supports essential accessories like the hawo tray and roll conveyor – giving it a professional edge.
