The Eupry temperature probe has been purposely designed with a flat, flexible cable. This means that the logger itself can be mounted onto the outside of the freezer, say on the side panel and the probe can be fed through the door seal.
The flat cable is also better for users who want to feed the probe through the service port. Round cables tend to leave small air gaps which allows front to build up. A flat cable means that the hole of the service port remains tight against the cable and minimises frost build up.
