Calibrating your centrifuge ensures that your device is performing as it should be. It could also be a crucial element of your own Quality Management System such as ISO 15189.  Whilst there is no law in place which states you have to calibrate your centrifuge, it is good practice to do so and may be expected of you by an external quality auditor.
